5 Coffee Creamer Substitutes

If you're tracking macros then you know you can absolutely have coffee creamer. There are no foods or drinks that are "off limits" as long as it fits your macros. However, I'm all about getting the most bang for your calorie-buck and if you've ever measured what a serving of creamer looks like - which is depressing - those calories add up really fast. Tracking macros is like having a budget for your daily food choices. For me personally, I would rather "spend" or "use" some of my fats on there foods that will fill me up, verses wasting 5-10 grams on my coffee creamer.

So, I came up with a short list of 5 coffee creamer substitutes. Most of these are lower fat, lower calorie options, but just as flavorful that will make ditching your typical coffee creamer a breeze!

This is one of my favorite ways to make my coffee in the morning! It's a great way to get some extra protein in and the flavor possibilities are endless. My current go-to is an equal splash of Vanilla Premier Protein and Isopure vanilla protein powder.

Spices, like Cinnamon or Pumpkin Spice

This is a must have if you're watching your calories and sugar. Cinnamon is also an anti-inflammatory, it's a win-win!

Almond or Cashew Milk

I love using almond milk in my coffee. This is great option if you like a lot of cream in your coffee, but don't want to break the calorie bank (only 30 per 1 C)! Talk about getting the best bang for your buck!

Low Fat Half & Half

Substitute creamer low fat half and half to create another unique and creamy texture to your iced or hot coffee.

Sugar Free Syrups, like Torani

Get creative with this one - lots of options like caramel, Irish cream and  chocolate macadamia nut, you'll find a tasty and low calorie option everyone will love.
