His recipes have quite literally taken over the internet (and my entire TikTok feed) and I'm not mad about it! With simple ingredients (and honestly, endless options), this Viral Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Salad recipe combines thinly sliced smoked salmon, crisp cucumber, whipped cream cheese and red onion, all topped with fresh dill and Everything But The Bagel Seasoning - the flavor combos are out of this world. The best part is, it's incredibly easy to make. Whether you’re entertaining guests or treating yourself, this recipe promises to be a delicious and satisfying experience. Enjoy!
Viral Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Salad
Ingredients:
Large cucumber
Smoked salmon (I get mine from Costco)
Reduced fat, whipped cream cheese
Red onion, diced
Capers
Fresh dill, roughly chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
In a large plastic deli container, combine all ingredients. Shake for a few minutes until everything is well combined. I used my vegetable chopper and stirred everything together since I was using this anyway to chop some of the ingredients. There's no right or wrong here - use whatever's easiest to combine your ingredients and whatever method has less dishes involved! :)
Enjoy immediately.

Recipe Tips:
I prefer using reduced fat whipped cream cheese 1) to make this a bit of a lighter, lower calorie meal and 2) I found that using the whipped version is way easier to mix compared to the traditional texture of cream cheese - this is particularly helpful if you're using those plastic deli containers to shake and mix your ingredients together.
If you've followed my recipes before, I typically list specific measurements for all the ingredients used but for this recipe, you really can't go wrong with your measurements, as it boils down to your personal preference - add as much or as little as you want! You really can't mess this up!
Prep & Storage:
Cucumbers naturally hold a lot of water, even when you lightly salt them in an attempt to dry out some of that water. So I don't typically recommend making this recipe in advance or as part of a meal prep. It's definitely best enjoyed right away!
If you're still wanting to take some shortcuts and like the concept of quicker meal preps, you can still prep your ingredients in advance (like chopping the onion, slicing the cucumber, etc.) that way when you're ready to make this recipe, you can simply add the ingredients together and shake, shake, shake! It doesn't get much faster than that!
